• Basic flux cored stainless steel wire for gas shielded metal arc welding
• Fully austenitic 25% chromium - 22% nickel - 2% molybdenum - nitrogen - low carbon deposit
• Latest generation basic slag quality guarantees optimum metallurgical quality and attractive welder appeal
• Together with enhanced productivity, FCW SB 465 offers many other advantages compared to solid wires : improved weldability, almost no spatter, better arc stability, enhanced wetting properties, weld metal quality matching SMA welded deposits, better bead aspect and shape, excellent micro fissuring resistance and use of classical M21 gas mixtures
• Attractive bead appearance, easy slag release, safe penetration and high productivity
• Maximum performances in the horizontal and downhand positions
• Welded with classical economical Ar-CO2 mixtures
APPLICATIONS
FCW SB 465 is mainly used for application in urea synthesis plants. Because of its superior corrosion resistance, it is also applied for the production of sulphuric acid, nitric acid and acetic acid
